Lady Pirates basketball took a 67-57 road defeat on Saturday to Highland CC as they started their second semester slate of games.  The loss moves their season record to 10-4 ahead of a road matchup Wednesday with Crowder College.  The Roughriders are currently 9-9.

Nora Ford scored 26 points in defeat for NCMC.  The only other Lady Pirate to reach double figures was Ianara Morbidoni with 10 points.  As a team, NCMC shot 35.8% from the field and netted 8 trifectas which kept the game close throughout.
