17th ranked NCMC women's basketball won the battle of the Pirates as they downed Park University JV 101-33 on Monday night. The team used as stifling defense to improve to 8-3 on the season ahead of a home matchup Wednesday against Highland Community College-Kansas.
Five NCMC players reached double digits in scoring, led by Kennadie Crowe's 25 points on 12-18 shooting. As a team, the Lady Pirates shot a scorching 58.1% from the field and topped the century mark for the third time this season.
