Jasmine Taylor Selected as NCMC’s Outstanding Student

Jasmine Taylor from Braymer, MO has been selected as North Central Missouri College's Outstanding Student for February. Jasmine, a Missouri A+ scholarship student, will graduate in May with her associate in arts degree from NCMC. After graduating from NCMC, Jasmine will continue her collegiate basketball career at Columbia College to major in psychology.

Along with being on the NCMC Lady Pirates basketball team, Jasmine is also involved with FCA, Student Support Services, and is a student worker in the academics office. Her favorite class has been general psychology with Dr. Lindsay Oram. Jasmine said, "Gen Psych with Dr. Oram is what made me want to major in psychology." Jasmine went on to say, "I really like the professors at NCMC and I also found my real friends here. My friends at NCMC have turned into family."

Each month, a student is nominated by a faculty or staff member to be featured as an Outstanding Student based on their dedication to educational success, attitude toward learning, and hard work in their field and activities.
