KCKCC Classic Split For Lady Pirates Basketball

17th ranked Lady Pirates basketball split their two games over the weekend at the KCKCC Classic.  On Friday, NCMC took their first loss of the season when they fell 67-60 to the host and 7th ranked Kansas City Kansas CC.  The Lady Pirates rebounded in a big way on Saturday defeating Jefferson College 82-60.  The team's record now sits at 4-1 with their next action coming at home on Tuesday when they face Southwestern CC.

 

Against KCKCC, Angel Wiggins led the offense with 15 points.  Also in double digits were Jasmine Taylor with 11 points and Maci Moore with 10 points.   Tiara Earnest poured in 20 points off the bench for KCK, leading all scorers.

 

A big offensive effort from Nora Ford was the catalyst for the Lady Pirates victory over JeffCo.  She netted 22 points in the victory.  Taylor and Moore each posted double-doubles in the victory.
