Lady Pirates basketball took it to Central Methodist University JV 103-27 Tuesday night to open their 2021-22 season. NCMC, ranked 15th in the preseason NJCAA DII poll, face little resistance in the contest and were able to get the entire team involved.
Leading the scoring for NCMC was the trio of Nora Ford, Kennadie Crowe and Jasmine Taylor, each of which totaled 15 points. Angel Wiggins netted 13 points and Kaylie Stufflebean added 10 points off the bench.
The next action for #15 NCMC will be a home tilt Saturday at 2pm against Marshalltown Community College. That will be the Lady Tigers first game of the season.
