Shooting Woes Doom #7 Lady Pirates

Shooting woes doomed the 7th ranked NCMC Lady Pirates basketball team on Tuesday evening when they took a 75-67 home defeat to Southeast Community College.  With the loss, NCMC is now 14-4 with one regular season game remaining, a road matchup with Region 16 foe Metropolitan Community College.  That game will be contested on Saturday, March 27th at 2pm in Kansas City.

As a team, NCMC shot 27% from the field.  From behind the arc, the Lady Pirates shot just 4-18.  The game was only the fourth time this season the team has been held under 70 points; in all but the recent 66-45 road win at St. Louis, the other games resulted in defeat.

Maci Moore totaled 16 points to lead NCMC, but also fouled out of the contest in the final moments.
