It was another resounding victory for the 12th ranked NCMC Lady Pirates on Wednesday evening. The team easily defeated Southwestern Community College 93-67 and improved their season record to 10-3. Next they will host rival St. Louis Community College on Saturday, a matchup of Region 16 foes. The Lady Archers are 4-4 this season and were defeated by Metropolitan CC in their lone region matchup.
A pair of Lady Pirates paced the scoring for the night. Kortlyn Rounkles and Kennadie Crowe each tallied 17 points with Crowe pulling down a team high 8 rebounds. Kennedie Kieffer (15pts), Macie Moore (13 pts) and Jasmine Taylor (10 pts) also contributed double digit scoring. The potent NCMC offense ranks 6th in the nation in scoring at 84.3 points per game.
