Lady Pirates basketball took care of business Monday night when they handed Graceland University JV a 94-47 defeat at the Ketcham Community Center.  The win improves NCMC's record to 12-5 ahead of a home matchup Saturday with Kansas City Kansas Community College.  The Blue Devils will provide a stiff test for NCMC; they are currently ranked #2 in the nation with a 15-1 record.

Coach Croy had these comments about her team's tune-up before KCK.  "We got off to a bit of a slow start.  We had trouble with finishing shots early but finally they started falling.  We played well together and did a nice job against their zone defense, moving the ball and getting the best look possible.  We were able to get everyone many quality minutes."
