Lady Pirates Basketball easily defeated Graceland University JV 93-53 on Friday afternoon at the Ketcham Community Center.  Leading the scoring for NCMC was Angel Wiggins with 18 points.  Kortlyn Rounkles added 17 points and Lily Osborn tossed in 15. 

Saturday, Livin' The Dream bested the Lady Pirates by the score of 71-66.  The loss dropped the team's record to 3-2 for the season.  Rounkles again led scoring with 16 points.  Brittney McKay tossed in 12 in the losing effort.

"I think with each game this group continues to improve.  We are young and often times have five freshman on the floor together.  We have to focus on making smart decisions on the offensive end and really work on our help side defense.  It will take time to get it all together, but we definitely have the tools," commented Coach Croy following the games.

The next action for NCMC will be a road matchup on Monday with Central Methodist University JV.  The tip in Fayette, MO is set for 7:00pm.
