Lady Pirates Basketball kicked off their season on Friday with a win over Fort Scott CC 70-53 in the Johnson County Community College Classic.  Saturday, NCMC got defeated by 8th ranked host Johnson County 80-72 in the Classic.

 

Through two games, NCMC's leading scorer is Kortlyn Rounkles who averaged 20.5 points per game over the weekend.  Here is a quick interview of her at halftime of Saturday's game.
