Congrats To NCMC Head Coach Jenni Croy

Current North Central Missouri College women's basketball coach Jenni Croy and former Bearcat dual-sport athlete Bob Sundell are among this year's inductees into the MIAA Hall of Fame, the conference announced Tuesday.

Formerly Jenni Miller, Croy scorched the nets during a four-year career for the Pittsburg State Gorillas. She made 364 3-point field goals during her time as a Gorilla, the second highest total in NCAA history at the time. Her average of 3.28 makes per game was the history upon her graduation.

Croy was an honorable mention All-American from the DII Bulletin as a senior in 1997. She averaged nearly 18 points per game that year, which concluded with her fourth All-MIAA selection as a first-team pick.

She averaged 16.3 points per game for her career, setting the Pitt State record with 1,809 points. The Gorillas won an MIAA title in 1996 and went to the NCAA Division II Tournament in 1997 and '97. She would go on to compete in the NCAA Women's National 3-Point Shootout in 1997.

Croy has been the head coach at NCMC since 2007.

The Hall of Fame induction will take place at the MIAA Awards Ceremony on Monday, June 3, in the Truman Forum Auditorium at the Kansas City Public Library.
