Lady Pirates Basketball Signs First Recruit

Lady Pirates Basketball has signed Kelsey Maxwell, a 6'0" post player from Gallatin High School.  Following a decorated high school career which included two NCMC Holiday Hoops All-Tournament Team selections, two 1st Team All-Conference honors, and 1st and 2nd Team All-District distinction, Maxwell will look to compete for meaningful minutes for the Lady Pirates in the fall.  Kelsey averaged 16.2 points per game while shooting 57.2% from the field as a senior.  She also pulled down an average of 10.1 rebounds per game.

"We have watched Kelsey play for the past 4 seasons.  She does a nice job of finishing around the basket, and will bring depth to us at the post positon.  We look for Kelsey to continue to grow her game and we are excited to welcome her to the NCMC Lady Pirate family!" commented NCMC Head Coach Jenni Croy.

Maxwell's high school coach, Courtney Ray, also played for the Lady Pirates.
