19th Ranked STLCC Too Much For Lady Pirates

Lady Pirates Basketball took a road defeat on Saturday to 19th ranked St. Louis Community College 77-53.  Ahead of Monday night's homecoming tilt against the University of Saint Mary JV, NCMC's overall record sits at 6-13.

 

NCMC, which trailed by just 5 points at the half, couldn't put together the second half needed for the comeback.  The Archers outscored the Lady Pirates 29-12 in the 3rd quarter to create an insurmountable lead.

 

Leading NCMC in scoring was sophomore Hailey Burrows with 13 points.  Also in double figures were Maddison Book and Karrisa Baber, each with 11 points.

 

The Archers were led offensively by Kimyra McGhee (13 points), Kanisha Green-McClain (13 points), Simone Rodney (10 points), and Ronne'zja Elliott (10 points).
