The Lady Pirates easily handled the Graceland University JV team last night at the Ketcham Community Center. The 86-37 win moved the team's overall record to 21-8. Their final regular season game will be Saturday at home against North Arkansas College. Also that day, sophomore players will be recognized.
Five players scored in double figures as it was a true team effort. Sarah Lamp's 16 points and 9 rebounds led the way. Also in double digits were Kendey Eaton (13pts), Hailey Burrows (13pts), Samm Jett (12pts), and Lindsay Wyatt (10pts). Top rebounders included Whitley Richman with 11 boards and Madison Gonseth with 9.
"We were able to get great minutes from everyone last night. I really thought no matter what rotation we had in the game, the girls played well together," remarked Coach Croy.
