The Lady Pirates secured their 17th victory on Monday evening with an 86-51 victory over Missouri Valley College JV. Kendey Eaton led the way with 20 points. This was truly a team effort with four other Pirates in double digits.
A faster start for the Lady Pirates was a focus going into the game. It certainly worked. Coach Croy had these comments; "In our pregame talk, we discussed putting together a solid first half. We wanted to use this game to prepare for how we need to play in region. We came out and shared the ball extremely well and knocked down shots. We went into half with 17 team assists!"
Others leaders were Sarah Lamp (16 points), Kelly Warford (15 points and 10 rebounds), Jami Nickerson (14 points) and Madison Gonseth (11 points and 15 rebounds).
The next action for the Lady Pirates will be on the road Wednesday against Wentworth Military Academy.
