The Pirates split their final home doubleheader of the regular season on Tuesday when they downed Jefferson College 5-4 in the opener before falling by the same score in game two. NCMC finishes the regular season with a record of 22-30 and Region 16 record of 16-12. NCMC will be the #5 seed in the Region 16 sub-region but will host Jefferson College due to the Vikings not completing the full region schedule of games. The best of three sub-region will be a doubleheader on Saturday at noon with the "if needed" third game on Sunday.
Game 1: North Central Missouri College secured a 5–4 victory over Jefferson College behind key performances from several standout players. Ireland Bloss delivered a dominant offensive showing, going 2-for-2 with a double, a home run, and two RBIs to power the Pirates' attack. Myla Laws chipped in with a hit and an RBI, while Trinity Alderman and Kenley Moore each added hits to help keep the offense rolling. On the mound, Cassi Rodgers was solid across five innings, allowing just three unearned runs and striking out three, before Briley Bouma closed the door with two innings of two-hit relief. Defensively, the trio of Brookelynn Becker, Bloss, and Laws turned a crucial double play to help preserve the win.
Game 2: Despite a strong offensive showing, North Central Missouri College came up just short in a 5-4 loss to Jefferson College. Emma Cathey led the way at the plate with a two-run homer, while Emma Lisenbee helped her own cause by driving in two more runs. Brookelynn Becker sparked the lineup with two hits, a run scored, and a stolen base, and Kenley Moore reached base three times and crossed the plate once. On the mound, Lisenbee started but was tagged for five earned runs, though Briley Bouma turned in a solid relief effort, allowing no runs and striking out five over 3.2 innings. Ultimately, the Pirates couldn't overcome the early deficit despite matching Jefferson with eight hits.
