Softball Goes 3-3 In Myrtle Beach

Pirate's softball posted a 3-3 mark on their recent trip to Myrtle Beach, SC for spring break.  They competed in doubleheaders from March 13-15 and split each day.  Here are the final scores from each game.

Through the spring break games, freshman Lauren Krohn leads the Pirates in batting average at .590, which is 5th best out of all NJCAA DI players.  She has also knocked a team high 2 home runs.  Leading NCMC in runs scored is Chloe Bell with 17 and the team's RBI leader is Caragan Baker with 17.

 

In the pitcher's circle, freshman Maeve Lavoy boasts the best ERA at 6.00.  Krohn leads the team in strikeouts with 66 over 53.2 innings pitched.

 

The team's record sits at 9-9 ahead of a matchup on Monday, March 21st with Moberly Area CC.  That doubleheader will be played at Battle High School in Columbia, MO.
