Close Losses For Lady Pirates Softball At Three Rivers CC

Lady Pirates Softball took four losses at Three Rivers Community College over the weekend.  NCMC's record is now 18-13 overall and 3-7 in Region 16 play.

 

Game One:  Three Rivers 4, NCMC 3

The Lady Pirates rallied for 3 runs in the 6th inning to tie the score before giving up the winning run in the bottom half of the frame.  Taking the loss was Kaitlyn Marsh.  Homering in the game was Kendra Holt.

 

Game Two:  Three Rivers 3, NCMC 1

NCMC jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning but could muster no more offense.  Three Rivers tied the game in the bottom of the fifth inning and added the winning two tallies in the sixth.  Payton Craig took the loss.

 

Game Three:  Three Rivers 9, NCMC 3

Three Rivers scored early and often, plating runs in all but two innings of play.

 

Game Four:  Thee Rivers 4, NCMC 2

Three Rivers pitching again stymied the NCMC offensive attack, allowing just two runs in the final inning of play.

 

More Region 16 play is on the horizon as the Lady Pirates take on Metropolitan Community College at Griffin Field on Tuesday.  First pitch is at 1pm for the doubleheader.
