NCMC Softball dropped three of four home games on Tuesday and Wednesday to push their record to 16-7. The Lady Pirates split with Region 16 foe State Fair Community College Tuesday losing 4-2 before rebounding for a 5-3 victory in game two. North Iowa Area Community College got the best of the Lady Pirates on Wednesday 9-0 and 3-0.
Earning the win against State Fair was freshman Ashleigh Creek.
Offensively against NIACC, the Lady Pirates were only able to muster 3 hits in the doubleheader.
Next action will be a home doubleheader against Jefferson College on Friday. The Lady Pirates dropped a pair to the Vikings earlier this season.
