Lady Pirates Softball earned a split Sunday at Northwest Missouri State University.  It was a one run victory to start things off with a final score of 3-2.  In game two, the Lady Bearcats took the 15-1 victory.  Coach Richman's squad is now 4-1-1 for the fall.

"My feelings about the day are a little mixed.  We came out and played really well to start earning the 3-2 win.  Then, I feel like we got a bit complacent and definitely faced our challenges as the day went on.  We will continue to improve so that we can play at a high level more consistently when the games matter in the spring," commented Coach Richman about the day. 

The next action for the Lady Pirates will be on the road October 9^th against Missouri Western State University.
