Top individual honors went to freshman Pirmin Kamm.  He shot +5 overall in the event.  Pirates took the top five spots of the tournament.

"It was nice to see Pirmin get to the top of a leaderboard.  Many people roll their eyes when I tell them we are as deep as any team in the nation, this just helps prove my point.  He has a game that is suited to a particular type of golf course.  As he continues to improve his wedge play, his game will travel a little better and offer some versatility to his shot selection.  With Van playing well last week and Pirmin this week; next season's roster is really promising," detailed Coach Sager.

"We honestly had five guys that were in position to win this thing after 18 holes.  Outside of the first group out, it was a very slow round.  Twenty-seven holes on a slow day can be a grind, I was pleased to see the guys hold their focus and play good golf.  The greens were quicker than anything we have seen this spring and it showed on our reads a little.  We do not need to play our best golf until May, so we have time to keep getting better.  It'll be up to the guys to close out their semester in the classroom, enjoy the perks of spring weather, and stay focused on what they came here to do in the first place," concluded Sager.
