Pirate's basketball had a rough go of things when they went on the road to Metropolitan CC on Saturday.  They were defeated 92-71 and fell to 1-2 against Region 16 opponents. 

The Wolves led start to finish, holding a 41-28 at the half and only spaced out the margin from there.  Leading NCMC in scoring were the trifecta of Pirates Kam Bevel, Sterling DeSha and Nelson Reynolds, all with 13 points apiece.  Metropolitan outshot NCMC from the field 50% to 39% plus outrebounded the Pirates.

The team will look to right the ship when they host Missouri Valley College JV at 7:00pm on Thursday night in the Ketcham Community Center.
