Pirates Down Graceland University JV 113-68 To Keep Winning Streak Alive

Men's basketball stayed hot of Thursday night when they took down the visiting Graceland University JV 113-68 and improved their season record to 13-4.  The Pirates are riding a 9-game winning streak and have been doing so in dominating fashion.  They will look to maintain that momentum on Saturday when they host Southeast CC, a formidable foe who also has a 13-4 season mark.

Against Graceland JV, the Pirates got strong scoring efforts from starters Isaiah Reams (16 pts) and Nelson Reynolds (14 pts) plus their top 6th man Carlton Thomas (15 pts).  All 14 Pirates who played scored in the lopsided victory, as Coach Esry was able to spread the minutes due to the large lead.  The stifling NCMC defense forced 20 turnovers from the Yellowjackets, which led to a multitude of easy transition buckets.
