NCMC Win Streak Pushes To Five With 14-Point Victory Over CMU JV

Pirates basketball downed a feisty Central Methodist University JV squad at home on Monday night 103-89.  The win improves the team's record to 9-4 and extends their current winning streak to 5 games.  Next up will be a home contest against Highland Community College-Kansas.  The Scotties are currently 7-5 on the year.

 

Nelson Reynolds had a strong night shooting the basketball, scoring a game high 26 points and knocking in 6-9 from beyond the arc.  Off the bench, Carlton Thomas contributed 18 points and Gerald Gittens added 16.  Starters Kam Bevel (13 pts) and Isaiah Reams (12 pts) also scored the basketball well.  As a team, NCMC 48.7% from the field.  The visiting Eagles kept the game close by knocking in 13 trifectas.
