Pirates Baseball traveled to Missouri Valley College on Tuesday for a scrimmage doubleheader with the Vikings.  Game one ended in an 8-8 tie before Missouri Valley took the win in the nightcap 7-5.

The Pirates totaled 22 hits over the 14 innings played.  Braedyn Brewer had five of those and pushed his fall batting average to .511.  Eastern Illinois commit Logan Eickhoff added 4 hits and drove in 3 runs.

On the mound, Pirates pitching walked 14 batters and gave up 4 homeruns.  Taking the loss for the Pirates in the second game was sophomore Clayton Bailey.

The Pirates Alumni Game will be the next action for NCMC and the last chance to see them at home this fall.  First pitch is set for Saturday at 1:00pm.  Come out to Burleigh Grimes Field to see all the current and former Pirates compete.
